Review:
Robert De Niro and Billy Crystal team up in this fun-filled effort as New
York crime boss Paul Vitti and Dr. Ben Sobel (a family psychiatrist).
Vitti (Robert De Niro) employs Sobel
(Billy Crystal) to help him through his emotional crisis.
Sobel tries to stay one step ahead of Vitti's crime family as he attempts
to help his patient "find himself."
Lisa Kudrow, Chazz Palminteri and
director/co-writer Harold Ramis round out the cast. After playing
vicious crime figures (as he did in "Godfather II," "Goodfellas"
and "Casino"), this is a very refreshing change for De Niro.

Trivia:
The character of Paul Vitti was loosely inspired by real life mobster John
Gotti.

Goofs:
Crew or equipment visible: Prior to the guy falling from the hotel window,
there is a lot of gunplay with the guy chasing Jelly and Jimmy down a
short hallway in Vitti's suite. As they pass the hall closet, there is a
wire visible that pulls the closet open.
